Featured Pet: Ana

If you're new to the Asheville area, you may not be familiar with Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, but we love them! They're a no-kill shelter and their work includes traveling all over the Southeast (and then some) to rescue animals from natural disasters. They do such good work!

I love just about any animal that will let me pet it, but I'm especially fond of cats. They're loving, funny, smart, and always looking for a good sunbeam. If you're also a cat person and looking to adopt, check out our featured kitten, Ana!

THOSE WHISKERS!

Ana is SO CUTE. She's also FIV+ , which has some limitations, but cats with this virus can live long and happy kitty lives! Visit this link to read more about Ana or other animals available for adoption at Brother Wolf. (Use their search feature to see all adoptable animals.) I've copied some information below.

If you adopt her, can I snuggle her? 😉

From Brother Wolf:

Please contact Angie (asong46@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.

This cute kitten is available for adoption through Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, and currently resides in one of our loving foster homes. Please contact the foster parent today to learn more!

Ana is Feline Leukemia positive (FeLV+), which means there are a few additional requirements for her care: she must be an indoor only cat; she needs to be an only cat unless the other cat/s in the household are also FeLV+, and she needs access to routine and emergency veterinary care as she may be more susceptible to illness than a cat who is not carrying the virus would be. She would be a great cat to add to your household if you already have a dog, as the virus is not transmissible across species.
