Best Home Decor Shopping in Asheville

So you’ve bought a new home in Asheville and you want to decorate it, preferably with local pieces or unique items that not every store sells. Where in Asheville can you go to find such items? Check out some of my favorites below!

Located off of Glendale Ave (across from Brother Wolf), this MASSIVE store has just about everything you could want. It has stuff you didn’t know you could want! Items cover many price points, and there’s something for every style. The Regeneration Station has a great story, which you can read here. I highly recommend checking them out!

Filled with over 75 dealers, the Antique Tobacco Barn is full of…everything! Lots of old signage, furniture, decor items, textiles, and more fill the huge building. The covered outdoor area contains large items, such as gates, large statues, and much more. The Tobacco Barn is well loved by locals and tourists alike!

Also a company with a great story, Atomic focuses on name brand mid-century modern pieces. Todd and Megan travel all over to find authentic mid-century furniture in great condition, and they recently moved to a new location on Swannanoa River Road, just down from the Antique Tobacco Barn. They share the space with local artisans whose work compliments their excellent furniture.

On Biltmore Avenue since 1990, this classic antique store features elegant decor and furniture items, as well as fine art. If you love the style of Biltmore Estate, you’ll love Village Antiques! All of their offerings are beautiful, heirloom quality and represent Old Europe well.

Mobilia's downtown store has long been one of my favorite places to visit, and if you need to furnish a contemporary home, they’re the best! Their design aesthetic is modern, clean, and utilitarian, all the while maintaining a sense of elegance. They also offer in-house design services.

Have you been to any of these spots? Where do you shop for home decor around Asheville?
